This is a stunningly beautiful audiophile device that plays to the strengths of its parent company. DukeBox from LG Labs is a tube amplifier and speaker whose tubes are visible behind glass. However, the glass is actually a transparent OLED screen.
Screen transparency is user adjustable and can be used to display track information or even play movies. The device has front-facing speakers at the bottom and 360-degree speakers at the top.
LG hasn’t provided any further information about the device, but that will change when they unveil it to the public at CES this week.
